In light of the potential impact from Hurricane Helene, we are taking proactive measures to prioritize the safety of our students and staff. As a result, District Six will transition to E-Learning for Friday, September 27. The National Weather Service is forecasting strong winds, flooding, and severe weather conditions for our area. As a reminder, SC Bus Safety Regulations restrict the operation of school buses if sustained winds reach 30mph or gusts of 40mph. Depending on the grade-level, teachers will communicate with parents and/or students regarding any assignments that should be completed. All after-school programs, activities, and practices have also been canceled for both Thursday and Friday. If the forecast changes in a way that impacts the school day on Thursday, we will make adjustments and communicate them as early as possible.Thank you for your understanding, as safety is always our top priority.
