We are excited to announce new principal & administrative assignments in District Six for the 2019-2020 school year. We are very confident that these individuals will continue to support the district’s mission and vision of putting our students first!
Mr. Ken Kiser, has been named Deputy Superintendent of Spartanburg District Six. He will assume the job responsibilities of Dr. Gregory Cantrell, who will be retiring in the fall.
Mr. Bryant Roberson, has been named principal of Dorman High School. Roberson has served in administration at Dorman for eleven years.
Mrs. Julie Brown has been named principal of Woodland Heights Elementary School. Julie has served as assistant principal at WHES for 5 years under the leadership of Dr. Cindy Pridgen who has retired as principal. Pridgen will continue to work with early childhood literacy and continuous improvement.
Mrs. Patrice James, an educator in District Six for 11 years, has been named assistant principal at Woodland Heights.
Mrs. Maddie Jurek, choral educator in District Six since 2008, has been named as an assistant principal at Gable Middle School.
